Alright, this is getting really stupid. Funny how I said I would update, and never did. Of course, I have a freaking good reason for it.

School.

Yes, school troubles everyone, but me most of all. Let me explain.

I'm on a Spanish island, but by some really stupid law, schools here are taught in Catalan, which I speak very little of. My Spanish has improved, I speak enough to get by, but I have juggle learning that with Catalan. Plus, my course is 6 languages - Englsih (no problem for me, but it's loads of work), Spanish, Catalan, French, Greek and Latin. I hate the last two. Basically, I'm working harder at school than anyone else, if that's even possible. I can't even drop subjects, as we're not allowed. We're stuck with whatever is given to us.

I should probably put a notice on my fan sites, so fans who visit don't accuse me of being lazy. Speaking of them, I'm gonna look through the list and see which ones I don't want anymore, if any. I just don't have the time like I used to.

Wow. I can't believe I haven't updated my personal site since January! Where has time gone? Seriously, 2009 has just zoomed by. So what has happened in all this time?

Well, I started a whole new school in early March, and found out I also need to learn Catalan for it! As if learning Spanish isn't overwhelming enough. Of course, I have improved, but the Spanish verbs still confuse me very much. I have also decided I want to learn German, because it's a good challenge and I quite like the language. And I want to learn Portugese too, it was my first language as a child, but then I only spoke English and forgot it. Yes, 4 languages this summer. It's one of the reasons my sites have suffered. Plus, I've been seeing friends loads, and I started seeing someone! It's early days, but he's a lovely guy, and we communicate well. We have deep, meaningful conversations and he just makes me feel safe. That's something rare with boys, which I've found out the hard way so many times.

I think this time round is different. Like I said, early days, so I haven't announced it properly yet or changed my relationship status on Facebook, because I don't want to jinx it.

On a very serious note, I can't believe Michael Jackson is dead! I know many people probably aren't fans, it's fair enough, but I grew up with his music. I still haven't taken it in, to be honest.



How he died is awful, if only his so-called doctor hadn't waited so long to call for help (nearly an hour, I believe), then Michael might still be alive. I saw some parts of the memorial, and his daughter broke my heart when she spoke. Whatever people thought about Michael Jackson, he was obviously a loving father and his kids are heartbroken.

Now, for some site stuff! A while ago, I played around a little with my style of sites, and I'm pretty impressed by how my Leah Pipes site turned out:



I like the top navigation, which seems popular with sites at the moment, the colours, and the new style. I needed a change. And ClaireDanesFan.com has been dead for such a long time, since there was a misunderstanding and out site was given away to someone else. Thankfully, Cristina and me resolved things with the new girl and let her stay on as a co-web, plus we were both having personal problems in our lives and thought the extra help would be handy. However, the new girl didn't look after the site at all and did nothing whatsoever! All she did was post one update, promising to look after the site, post photos, and just add loads more things. This was all the way back in late April! There were so many problems, and Cristina and me worked for days to fix everything! Needless to say, it's just Cristina and me again now.

Speaking of layouts, this site needs a new one! This layout was made for the winter, it just shows how long I've left to make another update. I have yet to decide on which person to use...

I made a new layout for Gabriella Online. I used the Javascript rotating/drifting images I enjoy using so much now. I also decided that one day (ideally, when I have a credit card) I'm going to a buy a domain for Leah Pipes Online. I'm so happy that it's lasted for 3 years in February, because all the other sites I made around the same time are long dead now!

Speaking of sites, I am seriously lacking any motivation to keep running George Sampson Fan. I really should have had more time to think before I threw myself into the site. Or well, it could be because my bigger sites take up so much of my free time. I don't know...

On a lighter note, I bought Leona Lewis' Spirit album in the deluxe edition! It was a great buy, and the song 'Run' gave serious goosebumps! Best song on the album, so I demand you listen to it right now if you haven't heard it yet!

My wish came true! I now own the biggest site for Claire Danes online. The last owner didn't take care of it, so I was allowed to adopt it. I've been a frequent visitor to the site for about 2 years, so I can't believe it actually belongs to me now!



I still have a lot of work to do, I have literally thousands more images that need to be uploaded. So far, I am managing to add a few hundred every day.

As you can see, I changed the layout yet again. This time, I like it! I saw this photo of Ayumi Hamasaki, and I thought she looked absolutely flawless. I've never even seen her in anything or know what she does, but I fell in love with that photo. I looked her up, and found out she's Japanese. It doesn't surprise me, if anything, I find it depressing how gorgeous Chinese and Japanese people are. They always seem to have perfect skin, perfect features, and general perfection.

Also, I got a domain for my Gabriella Cilmi fan site! My amazing host host at the The Fan Sites Network accepting my request for one, and I'm really grateful and excited as it's a step up for the site.

I also changed the layout like over a week ago, but was too lazy/busy to update about it. It's my first time making a layout in that style, so I still think I can do much better.

Now, time for weekly blurbs. I did go bowling on New Year's day, and met 2 parents, their son who is my age, and their daughter who is 10. And she's so sweet! Me and her have started getting close, despite the fact that she speaks Spanish and I speak English, we're both learning something. I also start Spanish school soon, where I will pick even more up. Luckily for me, I have English-speaking friends there already, and the teachers aren't expecting me to pass. Yet.

I also have to see the doctor tomorrow, and afterwards, going shopping for a while with my mum. I still have soe money left over, so I'm hoping to buy Leona Lewis' album, Spirit, in the Deluxe Edition. I was sent her song 'Run' recently, and now I can't stop listening. She truly has the most beautiful voice.

I have noticed that Claire Danes Fan hasn't been updated for literally months. If it becomes available for adoption, I may well adopt it since I love Claire. Though I will be hiring staff members for sure, since Claire is such a massive star.

Speaking of sites, my friend Colin (no link to provide, he's not a webmaster) thinks I should do a fan site on Jensen Ackles.



I have to say it was good suggestion, Jensen is gorgeous! I haven't seen the entire Supernatural series, but I've seen clips, and he's a very talented actor. Doing a site might have been fun, but there's too much to catch up with, and I have no time to do so. Plus, Desiring Jensen will be tough live up to! The design is gorgeous, and the gallery has well over 44,000 images. Rather than make my own site on the sexy Jensen, I think I'm happy just visiting that site on him.

One day, I will watch all the Supernatural episodes ever made ('one day' meaning I probably never will, because I always put things off, although it sounds like a good Jensen Ackles fix).
