My Virtual Life

This may surprise a few people, but my work in fan sites is actually a secret. I've only told very few close friends that I love to design sites. Remember in school when we all had pagebuilder sites, and used to visit/spam each other when we should have been doing work? It was the same with my class, and well, I didn't want people knowing that I was able to create a lot more than a simple pagebuilder site. Certain people would be weird about it, and likely treat me differently. Plus, there are those who hate me, and the comments they'd leave on my sites wouldn't be very nice to read at all. It's actually quite fun living two seperate lives, in a sense. Kind of like Hannah Montana, but less obvious. And less risky.

 

Random Facts

• Sofia is my real name.
• I'm so unphotogenic, and it takes a lot of tries before I even get one photo I'm pleased with.
• I'm quite the expert at typing long emails. The master even, as a good friend of mine likes to think.
• I'm an MSN and Facebook addict.
• Though I may reside in Mallorca now, I will always be a true Londoner.
• For a career, I want to do be a professional photographer, site designer, and/or have a career in performing arts (all of which I'm passionate about).
• I may be unphotogenic, but I don't mind my photo being taken as much as I used to.
• I once had to battle stagefright. It was a long, difficult, painful process, which made it all the more amazing when I finally overcame it.
• My singing range is alto, which I often get embarrassed about because most of my friends are sopranos.
• I have been designing/making/running fan sites for three years, though I've been interested in designing sites for over four.
• I'm not the best person at making graphics, and especially useless at buttons. But well, nobody can say I don't try, can they?
• I've only ever been in one relationship. And it was sure memorable.
• I'm short-sighted, and need glasses to see distant objects.
• I used to be obsessed with CSS scrollbar colours, until I fell in love with the wonderful creation that is Mozilla Firefox.
